MISSION STATEMENT & PURPOSE:

NephHope is dedicated to finding a treatment and a cure for individuals diagnosed with Nephronophthisis and Senior-Loken Syndrome through the funding of research as well as increasing awareness and providing support for those dealing with this diagnoses and their families.

The purpose of this website is two-fold.  First, it is to start a patient/family support group for those dealing with Nephronophthisis and Senior-Loken Syndrome.  The age of onset is very similar in both of these diseases and the families have shared experiences through the necessity of dialysis and renal transplantation.  Second, we will look to assemble a Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), then start fundraising for research and institute rules for a peer-reviewed research applications to be submitted and reviewed for funding once a year.  This research would further the identification and treatment for those afflicted with these diseases.  Whatever we can do to advance the therapies/treatments for those dealing with Nephronophthisis, we will do!
